O3 allows you to create and configure as many dashboards as you want to track project information. To keep track of these different dashboards, O3 offers dashboard settings including title, header, and system defaults to make dashboards as easy as possible to navigate.

Dashboard Settings

To edit dashboard settings, select the Dashboard Settings icon.

On the Dashboard Settings screen, you have access to the following settings:

  • Title - name of the dashboard

  • Header Color - color of the header displayed on the dashboard

  • Dashboard Scope - designate if dashboard is system, plant, or project based

  • Owner - user responsible for the upkeep of the dashboard

  • Default Dashboard - designate if this is the default dashboard system-wide

Title

To change the name of the dashboard, type a new name in the Title field.

Header Color

To change the header color, select a new header color from the Header Color drop down.

Dashboard Scope

To designate if this dashboard is on the system, plant, or project level, select the option on the Dashboard Scope drop down.

Note: if you select Project or Plant, you are limiting access to this board from that scope. Sharing is caring, so we recommend using System scope most of the time.

Owner

To change the ownership of the dashboard, use the Select icon in the Owner field to select a username.

Default Dashboard

To mark this dashboard as the default view, or the first dashboard seen upon log in across all usernames, select the Make This the System Default Dashboard checkbox.

Select Save to apply your changes.
