O3Go, Readings, Observations, Tool Time

New Reading

The New Reading section allows you to add new readings and observations to O3Go.

To add a new reading, select New Reading. You will be taken to the new reading screen where you will be prompted with a popup to select the appropriate Project for the reading. Select the Project.

Enter the details about the reading. Red fields indicate mandatory fields. Green fields indicate optional fields. Red fields are required to record an observation, but it is recommended to capture as much information as possible.

Use the ellipsis icon next to the field to make your selections. If any information is missing from the drop downs, please notify your system admin to have the information added.

Note, Any information adding to a Reading will automatically be inherited by the Observation.

Use the Comments section to add comments to the reading.

To upload a photo to the reading, select Add Photo. Note that you cannot view the photos within the application. Photos can only be viewed in the web browser.

To add an observation, select Add Observation. This is where you will put in the specifics of what is being observed. This can either be Tool Time or Non-Tool Time.

Select a Discipline, Category, and Activity.

Enter the number of people involved and detailed comments.

To upload a photo to the reading, select Add Photo. Note that you cannot view the photos within the application. Photos can only be viewed in the web browser.

Once you have completed your observation, select Save & New, which will prompt a popup for a new observation.

OR

Save & Close, which will save your work and take you back to the reading details screen.
