Learn about the project-level settings that can be configured for Tool Time Readings in O3. Tool Time is offered for clients that purchase the O3GO Mobile App.

General Settings
Mask Settings
Your Mask allows you to configure the naming of your Tool Time Observation names.
By default it includes:
The code assigned to the project
The text HoTT
The counter - this begins with the Starting Sequence Number and go up to as many digits as indicated at the end of the Mask (in this case 5).
Color Formatting Rules
Users can control the color of the measurement tile so it is easy for users to understand what is "good" and "bad."
The color is based on % of time on tools.

Data Requirements
This section allows you to set certain Tool Time Reading fields as Not Required and Always Required upon creation.
Note: fields cannot be added to or removed from System Required.
Categories
This section allows Project Admins to add and remove categories for the different Tool Time Observation Types offered in O3.
Categories are the level 1 of tool time reporting (above activities, then tasks).
To add a new category, click on the Add Item button at the bottom of the table. The Name and Code fields are required.
Activities
Project Admins can define different Tool Time Observation Activities to assign to the categories they previously defined.
Note: you must have categories defined to create activities.
Tasks
Tool Time Tasks allow a third level of tracking Tool Time and are associated with the activities they previously defined.
Note: you must have activities defined to create tasks.
