At O3, we value collaboration between users and strive to make it as quick, easy, and convenient as possible. One way we support collaboration is through dashboard sharing between users, project roles, and across entire projects. Shared dashboards can provide a common viewpoint for evaluating parts of a project, or an easy way for new users to get started with O3.

O3 allows users to share dashboards directly with other Users, all users for a specific Project, or all users in a specific Role on a specific Project.

To share a dashboard, select the Share Dashboard option on the Action menu.

Sharing with a Project
To share dashboards with all users for a specific Project, or all users in a specific Role on a specific Project, select Project from the Share With drop down.

Select the Project.

Optional: Select a Role to further restrict your sharing to users in a specified Project Role. If this option is left blank, the dashboard will be shared with all users on the Project.

Click Add Share.

Once the Share has been added, click the Save button to save your changes.

Sharing with a User
To share dashboards directly with other users, select User from the Share With drop down.

Select Choose User to launch the user selection screen.

Select one or more users and click Choose Items.

By default, dashboards are shared with an Access Level of 'View Only', but this may be modified to 'Allow Edit' if desired. If 'Allow Edit' is selected, other Users will be able to modify the configuration of your dashboard.

Click Save to save your changes.

Removing a Share
To stop sharing a dashboard, click the X on the right side of the share, then click Save.

Accessing a Shared Dashboard
