O3 gives you the ability to completely customize your view so that you see your data the way that you need to see it.


Filter Data

To filter your view by criteria within the column, select the Filter icon in the column header.

Use the check boxes to select the desired criteria.

You can also use the search field to locate the desired criteria.

OR

Type the criteria directly into the search field.

By default, each column is filtered by a "Contains" criteria. This criteria can be adjusted as needed by hovering over the column's magnifying glass icon.

To clear your filter options and return to the default screen, select Clear at the bottom of the screen.

Group by Column

To group data by a column's criteria, click and drag the column header into the group row. You can group by multiple columns.

Resize Columns

Grid columns can be re-sized by clicking and dragging the border between columns to the left or right.

The "Autosize Columns" option can be used to automatically calculate column widths based on the lengths

Add/Remove Column Headers

To add or remove columns from your view, use the Column Chooser.

Drag columns from the Column Chooser to the grid header to add columns. Drag columns from the grid header to the Column Chooser to hide them.

To search for a specific column, click the search field and type in part or all of the name.

Sort by Columns

To sort data, click on the desired column header. On the initial click, data will be sorted in ascending order. If the column header is clicked a second time, data will be sorted in descending order. You can hold down the Shift key while clicking column headers to sort by multiple columns. When a column is sorted, a small arrow displays in the column heading indicating the direction (ascending or descending).

To clear a sort, right click in the heading and select "Clear Sorting".

Reorder Columns

To reorder grid columns, click and drag the column header to the left or right.

Save Layout

O3 allows users to save and restore grid layout configurations, including filtering, sorting, and grouping options. To save a new layout, select the Label menu and select Save As.

Each layout may be given a unique name, and optionally designated as the default layout. If a layout is designated as the default, that layout will be automatically selected when the grid is loaded.

Use the Layout menu to switch between saved layouts. The 'Recent Layouts' section of the 'Layouts' menu provides quick access to the last 5 grid layouts that were viewed by a user. Click on a layout's name to apply it.

If your desired layout isn't listed in the 'Recent Layouts' list, click 'Browse All Layouts' to see all of your saved layouts.

In the layout browser, click a layout's title to select and apply it. You can also delete saved layouts by clicking the X to the right of the title.

To update the currently selected grid layout, select Save Layout.

Share Layout

Users can share Grid Layouts directly with other Users, all users for a specific Project, or all users in a specific Role on a specific Project.

Export to Excel

To export the current grid view to Excel, select the Export to Excel icon. The grid will export based on the current view's configurations.

E-mail to Me

Select the E-mail to Me icon to email an Excel file of the data in your current view to the email address tied to your O3 username.
