An Action Plan is a list of individual tasks required to achieve a goal. The progress of an Action Plan is determined by the number of completed tasks in the plan out of the total number of tasks.

O3 has the option add an existing task to the Action Plan or create a new task for the Action Plan.

To create an Action Plan, select Add Tasks.

To add an existing Task, select Add Existing Tasks.

Select Task(s).

To create a new Task, select Create New Tasks.

Name the new Task.

Select a Type.

  • Action - to do items to reach your goal

  • Decision - important choices that need to be made on the way to your goal

  • Issue - roadblocks along the way to your goal that will need to be handled

  • Other issue types may be available or set up by your Project Administrator

To update the status of the Task, select Edit.

Select a status:

  • In Progress - task in progress

  • On-hold - task is pending

  • Resolve - task is complete with resolution notes

  • Close - task is complete without resolution notes

The progress percentage will update on the Progress bar.
