Make Sure You're Running the Latest Version of O3

If you don't see version number 23.5, please clear your browser's cache and refresh O3.

Work Packages, Let's Roll Up

CWPs can now be added to CWAs as scope children in the Scope Packages tab.

We've also added the following fields to CWAs:

  • Scope

  • Estimated Hours

A CWA's Estimated Hours and Earned Hours will be a rollup of its children's hours info.

One Place, All Your Project Users

O3 now includes the Project Users grid.

This gives system admins a convenient way to see what users belong to which projects in a grid format.

The O3 Contract

When creating Execution Tasks with component filters, users can now filter using Contracts.

The Contracts you want to restrict the task to can be entered under Available Contracts. Otherwise, you can enable the Auto-Create on All Contracts flag.

Behind the Mask

O3 now supports the Code field for Work Package Purposes.

This field can now be used when coding your work packages' auto-generated names under Mask Settings using ###{{PURPOSE_CODE}}.

Goodbye 'No Section' Section

With this release, we're bidding farewell to the No Section section in Team Boards.

This section is now the Tasks section. Any actions that were not assigned to a section will automatically end up here.

More Swim Lanes

Users are now able to add new sections to Team Boards using the Card view.

When using the Card view, click on the + > Add New Section.

Materials, But for CWPs

Like IWPs, CWPs now have their own Components and Material Requirements grids.

More 4D

We've made the following Display Modes available for the model 4D view in O3.

Work Package Purpose

Visualizes the model by Work Package Purpose. If the same IWP is being worked on across different Purposes, it'll be highlighted in bright red.

Skyline Progress

Visualizes the model by skyline dates for the following states:

  • Issued

  • Started (i.e., In Progress)

  • Completed

As well as whether or not the work package is constraint-free and on-schedule.

From the Source

Background images for plot plans can now be linked to drawings.

Once your drawing is updated (whether that update takes place directly in O3 or via an integration), the background image will be updated to the latest revision.
