O3 supports auto-created constraints for multiple entities in O3. This article will use IWPs as an example.
This article also assumes you are a Project Admin. Make sure you have the necessary permissions before reading on.

What Are Auto-Created Constraints?
When you create an IWP in O3, any auto-created Constraint Types and their constraint items will automatically appear under that IWP's Constraints tab.
Navigate to Entity Settings
From the left-side navigation menu, click Project Settings > Entity Settings. Then select IWPs.
Create Auto-Created Constraint Types & Items
These auto-created constraints will be added as soon as the work package is created.
Go to Constraint Types in the Installation Work Package Settings menu and click on the + icon above the Constraint Types grid.
When creating your Constraint Type, be sure to enable Auto-Create and then click Save.
Auto-created Constraint Items can be added in the section below by clicking on Add Item.
Note that you can specify which IWPs these items will be associated to by adding filters.
The following fields are supported for filtering auto created constraint items across all Entity Types:
AreaContractDisciplinePurpose
Auto-Created Constraints upon Status Transition
You can also configure auto-created constraints once your IWP has transitioned to a specific status.
In the Installation Work Package Settings menu, click on Status > click on a status in the grid below > click on the Constraints tab in the Entity Status Details menu.
Then click Add Item.
