What Are Learning Paths?
Learning Paths are a set of courses your team members are required to complete.
For example, over the course of an implementation we ensure all the workface planners go through the following:
O3 Self-Paced Training
Work Packaging from the Model
IWP & Constraint Management Training
We could treat this as a Learning Path!
Creating New Learning Paths
To create a new Learning Path, click on the graduation cap > Admin > Learning Paths in the left-side menu.
Then click on the + sign.
Each Learning Path is made up of Course Groups. These can be used to group your courses together logically and set the order in which they need to be completed.
Click Add Group at the bottom to create a new one.
Click on the pencil to edit the group's name. Days to Complete determines by what date the user needs to complete all the courses in this group.
To add a course to the group, click Add Course. You can have multiple courses per Course Group.
Once you're done creating your groups, click Save.
Enrolling Users in a Learning Path
Select your Learning Path from the grid then click on Users at the bottom.
Click on the + sign and choose everyone you want to add.
When a user is enrolled in a Learning Path, it will update their required training in My Training.
Tracking Your Team's Required Training
Enrolling a user in a Learning Path makes it easier to track their required training.
To view this, go to Admin > Learning Path Requirements in the left-side menu.
This grid shows the Learning Path the user is enrolled in, as well as their Enrollment Status for each of the courses.
We could make visualizing this easier by grouping by the User and Learning Path columns.
