This article includes O3 Academy's standard process for onboarding new users into O3, both from a user and training admin perspective.

Weeks 1 & 2

Concord Academy AWP Training

Behind every effective tool is a great process! Our friends over at Concord Academy can jumpstart your crew's onboarding with their self-paced workface planning certification.

O3 Login Credentials & Training Access Issued

It's time to get your team into O3! Admins will create logins for their users and grant them access to the training project.

Training projects are built to simulate the production project, using data from the job site.

Users Receive Credentials

Your users' username, password, and login instructions will all be nicely packed in two separate emails. Now it's time for them to log in!

Users will log in to a welcome dashboard with instructions on registering for and accessing their self-paced training.

Set up User Training

The next step depends on how your team coordinates training.

Users Enroll Themselves in Training

O3 training admins can set up and assign team members to learning paths, allowing users to know their learning requirements and register for training on their own.

Now you just have to worry about scheduling the training!

Training Admins Enroll Users in Training

Training admins can also handle user enrollment themselves. Create a course listing and sign your users up.

In both cases, users will receive an email notification for their training enrollment.

Self-Paced Learning Begins

Your team will start with our self-paced learning series, which includes

  • O3 Basics

  • Dashboards Overview

  • Teams Training: Team Boards & Goals

  • XWP Overview

  • Constraint Management Overview

Each self-paced course consists of a series of videos and follow-up training activities to cement learning.

Weeks 3 & 4

Self-Paced Learning Ends

Your users will have a couple weeks to complete their self-paced training and explore O3.

Live Training

Once users are done with self-paced training, they will attend a follow-up Q & A session.

Here your users will get a brief refresher on what they learned and have the chance to ask questions.

Access to Production Site Granted

Now that training is done, it's time for your users to go live!

Your users will be granted access to the production site and start contributing to your project.

Week 5 Onwards

Work Conducted in Production Site

What's left to do but work?

Continued Support & Learning

For the remainder of your project, your users will have access both to our support team and our evergrowing support article library.

And the learning doesn't stop here! We're constantly expanding our O3 Academy Toolbox with Train-The-Trainer scripts and other training support for your users.
