These are the Area configurations available in Project Settings:
An Area can be used as a filter in reporting and on dashboard widgets.
Maintain the areas drop down list found in Work Package > Details Tab.
Add, edit, or delete areas to this list by clicking an icon found in the tool bar in the top right.
Areas can be a sub-set of CWAs in order to provide more granularity for location of work packages such as CWPs and IWPs. It is not required to use CWAs in order to use Areas.
