Overview

From this menu, users can access the plants they've been assigned to as a Plant Admin.

Clicking on a plant in the grid will bring you to that plant's Plant Details form. Plant Admins can

  1. Create new projects

  2. Add users to projects in your plant

  3. Create and add new companies to your plant

  4. Create new roles to assign to users in your plant

  5. Create new Asset and Unit lookup values

  6. See which imports have been made to projects in that plant.

Creating New Projects

To create a project, go to Projects > + icon above the grid.

This will bring up the Add Project form. Don't forget to click Save!

Adding Plant Users

Moving over one tab to Users will allow Plant Admins to add plant users.

This will bring up the Choose User grid. Select all the users you want to add, then click Choose Items.

Next you can assign the user their permissions. You can make them a Plant or Project Admin, or give them individual permissions within the Plant.

Adding New Companies

You know the drill! Click on the Companies tab and then click on the + icon above the grid.

The Choose Company(s) form will appear. You can add an existing company from the grid or create a new one by clicking on Create New in the bottom-left corner.

You'll see this field appear in quite a few places in O3, including on work packages (e.g., Planner User Company - the company of the Planner User) and Team Boards (e.g., Company - a field you can manually set).

Creating Roles

Clicking on the + icon under the Roles tab will bring up the Add Role form.

After clicking Save, the Roles Details page will appear. Here you can assign permissions to what users can access in the project they're assigned to.

You can now assign this role when adding users to projects.

Adding Assets

You look like you could use a break. All you have to do here is click on the empty line and type in the asset's Name, then click Add Item.

Projects can be grouped up under assets in O3, which can then be used for cross-project reporting on the Overview tab.

Adding Units

Under the Units tab, clicking on the + icon will allow you to create a new Unit.

This unit can now be added to work packages or Tool Time/Safety Observations made in your projects.

Viewing your Plant's Imports

You expected having to click on that + icon again, right? Wrong!

From the Imports tab, you can view all the imports that have been made to projects assigned to your plant.
