Using the Resources tab, you can see what resources have been allocated for your work package.
Note: only certain work package types have the Resources tab. This article uses IWPs as an example.
This article assumes you have the appropriate permissions for creating/editing work packages. Please confirm this with your Project Admin before reading on.
Navigating to The Resources Tab
Click on Work Packages > Installation (IWPs) in the left-side navigation menu, then select an IWP in the grid.
In the Detail Form, click on the Resources tab.
Tying Manpower, Tools, & Equipment to a Work Package
Select the Manpower, Tools, or Equipment tab that you would like to add, then click on the + sign above its grid.
Note: the Resource Type field is a project-level lookup that must be configured by your Project Admin.
Enabling Create Another will create the resource and automatically open a new form.
This process is identical for adding manpower, tools, and equipment to your work packages.
Associating Scaffold Requests to an IWP
At this time, O3 only supports tying scaffold requests to IWPs.
In the Scaffold Requests tab, click on the + sign above the grid.
By default, you will want to
Provide the request's Name,
Select the Request Type,
And choose the Scaffold request that pertains to.
As we did in our IWP rework tasks article, you can assign this request to multiple users with roles or user groups, and track it with your other project actions using Team Boards.
Once the Scaffold Request is created, an Access Constraint is created. You can learn more about the Constraints tab here.
You can update the request by double-clicking it in the grid.
