Note that everything discussed below takes place when adding components to an IWP via the model as well as the IWP's Detailed Form.

All drawings tied to the added components are automatically associated to the IWP.

Drawings' materials are automatically allocated to the IWP. By default, all materials will be allocated to the IWP.

If any of the materials have a Component Identifier that matches one of the added components, then only those materials will be allocated.

Admins can restrict Material Categories to specific Purposes. If any of the materials' Material Category is available for the work package's Purpose, then those materials will be pulled in as well.
