Make Sure You're Using the Correct Version of O3!

If you don't see version number 24.9 in the bottom-left, clear your browser's cache and refresh O3.

Global Collaboration

O3 now supports Global Teams and Global Boards. You can find these in the Overview section.

By default, Public access for Global Boards is disabled.

Tasks from different projects can be assigned to a Global Board via the Global Boards field.

We've also added 4 new system lookups to support Global Boards:

  • Global Task Category

  • Global Task Type

  • Global Task Resolution

  • Global Task Responsibility

Like with project Team Boards, these fields can be restricted to certain Global Boards based on what teams will be interacting with them.

We've also made it easier to track when a task is moved to a new Team Board or new section. These events are now captured in a task's History.

RFI Constraints, Automated

We've added a new general setting for IWPs in Project Settings > Entity Settings > IWPs.

When Automatically create constraints for IWP Drawings with open RFIs is toggled O3 will look up the Drawing field for an RFI. If that drawing is a Predecessor to any IWPs and the RFI it's listed under is incomplete, then it will create a constraint for the RFI on those IWPs.

Better Parsing for CSVs

We've extended all of our parsing rules for .XER files to .CSV files.

Quantity is Key for CWPs

We've added the following fields to CWPs:

  • Component Key Quantity

  • Component Key Quantity UOM

  • Component Key Quantity Unit Field

These fields can be used to calculate your CWP's key quantity based on the quantities of a CWP's components and materials.

When a Component Key Quantity UOM is selected, O3 will roll up all components/materials with that UOM to Component Key Quantity and drive those calculations off the selected Component Key Quantity Unit Field.

Easier Sectioning

We've made improvements to our Sectioning tool in the model.

After selecting your components, you can right-click one of them and choose Section, then draw a Box or Plane around those components.

I Need All the Details

You can now include Construction Component tables in your CWP and IWP Detail Reports.
