What is a Data Deliverable?

Data Deliverables can be used to manage recurring imports in O3.

Each Data Deliverable corresponds to a single Data Source, which you'll need to set up before creating a Data Deliverable.

You can click here to learn how to create a Data Source.

Creating a New Data Deliverable

To create a Data Deliverable, go to Project Information > Data Deliverables.

Then click on the + sign at the top.

We recommend filling out the entire form. See below for field descriptions.

  • Name - the name of the Data Deliverable

  • Description - a brief description of what data is being uploaded

  • Data Source - a system external to O3; this is where the data is coming from

  • Import Type - the type of data being updated

  • Input Method - whether this data will be uploaded manually or via an integration (automatic)

  • Target Frequency - how often the data will be uploaded

When you're done, click Save.

The Data Deliverables Details Form

The Data Deliverables Details form includes some fields not found on the creation form.

  • Responsible Company - company responsible for the Data Deliverable

  • Responsible Party (Source Data) - party responsible for providing the Responsible Party (O3 Input) with the data; the data will come from the external system

  • Responsible Party (O3 Input) - party responsible for getting the data into O3

  • Last Input Date - the date the data was last uploaded; this field is system-generated

  • Next Input Date - when the next upload needs to be made; this field is based on Target Frequency + Last Input Date

The Import History tab is where you can upload your data and see previous imports. Click here to learn more about this.
