While this video applies to all Entity Types, we will be using Installation Work Packages as an example.

Note that in order to configure Detailed Form Layouts, you must have project admin access.

Like with grids, Entity Detailed Forms can have their own layouts as well.

You can add and remove fields and sections, and set criteria so these layouts appear at specific times (e.g., when an IWP is in the In Progress state or has a specific Discipline).

Expand the left-side menu and click on Work Packaging > Installation (IWPs).

Then choose an IWP from the grid.

To create a new layout, click on the Layouts button at the top > New Layout.

You can fields by clicking on the Add Field button.

You can hide a group or change its name by clicking on Group Settings, or you can delete it with Delete Group.

You can set which tabs are available by clicking on the cogwheel.

Tabs under Selected Tabs will appear in the form. You can also rearrange the order of the tabs by dragging and dropping.

When you're done, click on the Layouts icon > Save As.

You can set selection criteria to determine when the layout will be available. In this example, once my IWP is in the In Progress state the layout will be applied.

To edit an existing layout, click on the Layouts icon > Save.

You can order layouts to set their priority. Click on the Layouts icon > Order Layouts.

You can reorder layouts by dragging and dropping.

In this example, the first layout will be applied if my IWP is In Progress AND has a piping Discipline and default to the second one otherwise.

You can use previously set up layouts from other projects by going to the Layouts icon > Import From Project.

You can filter by Project and search by Name to make finding the layout easier.
