Make sure you're running the latest version of O3!

If you don't see version number 23.1, please clear your browser's cache and refresh O3.

New Year, New Plans

As in you can now leverage plot plans in O3! Go to Project Information > Plot Plans.

Creating a new plot plan is easy. Start out by clicking on the + in the top-right.

Then begin editing.

To upload your plot plan, go to Diagram > Set Background Image.

Note that O3 accepts JPEGs and PNGs.

Go to Insert to begin labeling your plot plan.

Drag and drop to position your objects.

Then drag the blue boxes to resize them. You can also use the Properties pane on the right to resize selected objects, change their color, and adjust their opacity.

Objects can be assigned to layers, allowing you to filter your plot plan. Go to Layers > Add Layer.

To add an object to a layer, select the object and then click on the layer's +.

This lets you show or hide objects by clicking on the eye icon.

Objects can also be linked to work packages. Select an object and go to Link, then choose your work package type.

When you're done making changes, click Save Changes at the top and Cancel Edit.

Selecting the object outside of edit mode will let you see the work package tied to it, as well as all of its children.

You can click on the work package's name to go straight to its Details form.

You can also change the Display Mode at the top to view your work package's status visualization.

Go to Properties > Visualization to see your legend.

Recognize Your Accomplishments

We're just as excited for 2023 as you are, but take a moment to recognize all that you accomplished in 2022!

With the My Actions grid, you can now show or hide your completed actions. Click on the action menu icon > Show or Hide Complete.

Learn Your Lesson

O3 now supports the following fields for CWPs:

  • Lessons Learned

  • Safety Notes

Count Your Drawings

The CWPs grid now includes the Drawing Count field, which automatically tallies all the drawings assigned to that Construction Work Package.

You can pair this with the Drawing File Count field to see which of your drawings already has files uploaded in O3.
