What are Design Work Packages?

Design Work Packages (DWPs) are Scope Packages of Engineering Work Packages. DWPs are meant to help split up the development of an EWPs drawings across all of your design teams, allowing you to segment out and prioritize the work accordingly.

New Navigation

(1) Expand the left-side menu and click on (2) Engineering > (3) DWPs.

Classic Navigation

(1) Expand the left-side menu and click on (2) Work Packaging > (3) Design (DWPs).

Either of the above navigations will bring you to the DWPs grid.

Creating DWPs in O3

To create a DWP, click on the + above the grid.

Then fill out its creation form.

Fields highlighted in red are required.

While creating your DWP, you can associate them to an Engineering Work Package via the Engineering Work Package field as a Scope Package.
