"We Don't Need No Stinking Papers!"
Make sure you have the right crew for the job. The new Certifications tab found in the training section allows you to record all Certifications each member of your crew has acquired.
We have provided the ability to record the Level, Number, Date Received, and the Expiration Date for each certification type. The Certification Type is a system lookup, while the Certificate Level and Number are free text.
You Can't Escape Your Past
Need to know who issued an IWP? Or when that document was set to IFC? Well, now this can all be easily accessed in one location. With the new Status History section found under the Tools tab you will find the status transitions by entity type. Sort and filter this list by the date the transition was made, who made the change, the entity number or many other fields.
"I Get Double Vision"
You want to see a manpower curve across how many schedules? All of them? We can do that. The new Project Manpower Curve shows you the progression of manpower over the selected intervals across all schedules entered for a given project. You have the option of reporting this data based on the number of hours or headcount.
The Detroit Lions! The Gift that Keeps on Giving!
The Detroit Lions may not, but the Deliverables tab keeps on giving! Along with the addition of the Deliverables tab on an IWP (released in 2020.9), you can now print Deliverable attachments on the IWP detailed report. After adding one or many Deliverables to an IWP, add an attachment in the Deliverable details screen accessed when editing any deliverable.
The next time you export the IWP detailed report to PDF, you will have the option to print that attachment along with it.
You've Never Seen a Subtask South of 10
Have a lot of Subtasks to complete? Well, we can't help you get the work done, but we can make it easier to keep track. Now adding Subtasks to a parent task is easier than ever. When editing a parent task, you can add a subtask by clicking into the field below the last subtask created. That's it. Now get to work!
"I Just Gantt Do It, Captain!"
I gantt export to Excel?! You can now. You have a great looking gantt chart in O3 and now you can share it with anyone. When viewing a schedule in gantt view, click the download icon to reveal the option to not only print as a PDF, but also as an Excel file.
The file will include the same color scheme used when viewing it in O3. You did all the work, time to show it off!
Let It All Out
Now you don't have to open a new window when leaving a comment on a task. The Comments section on a task has been updated to an inline text field. You can still mention another user is the comments, but now their name will now be highlighted. You've got a voice, make sure you are heard!
