Drawings Not Required

Users now have a simpler way to tie material requirements directly to components when drawing information is not present. Project Administrators can import this information directly using the UIDs Drawing Number and/or Component Identifier. The full list of component and drawing material requirements can now be viewed under Project Information > Bill of Materials.

This can be used in place of the Work Package Material Requirements import and allows you to import materials against components without a drawing.

I Have a Type

Execution Task Types now have the Component Type and Object Type fields in their details form. These fields can be used to auto-create execution tasks from graphical or non-graphical construction components.

These map directly to the same fields on components and are meant to replace the following mappings:

Component

Execution Task

Component Type

Category

Object Type

Name

Note: Execution Tasks configured with the old mappings will be unaffected.

I Gantt Keep Up

O3 now supports the Gantt View for all of its work packages. You can access these in Tools > Gantt View.

Like with the IWP Gantt View, you can group by fields, adjust dates via drag-and-drop, and define predecessor and successor relationships.

Drill Down into Closeouts

Users can now drill down into constraint closeout widgets and see the data driving them.

Vision of Revision

You can now group CWP widgets by Revision.
