A Bow Tie is a visual summary of the risk detailing the event itself, the cause of the event, the consequence if the event occurs, and lists the actions that can be taken to prevent the event in the first place, as well as lists the action that can be taken if the event does occur.
To access the Bow Tie feature, select the Bow Tie tab on the Risk Details screen.
Click inside the Event box to free text the event (what could happen).
Click inside the Cause box to free text the cause (why event could happen).
Click inside the Consequence box to free text the consequence (the outcome if the event happens).
Click Add Action in the Preventative Actions box to create an Issue. Multiple Issues can be added.
Click Add Action in the Recovery Action box to create an Issue. Multiple Issues can be added.
Note: Recovery Actions remain dormant until the risk is activated.
